The Shiratorizawa Academy is a school in Miyagi Prefecture. It is difficult to enter this school by conventional means like the entrance exam which is extremely difficult. The boys’ uniform consists of a white jacket, a purple tie, purple pants and brown moccasins.

What does Shiratorizawa mean ?
The « Shiratori » in ‘Shiratorizawa’ signifies ‘swan’, however since it’s made out of two kanji characters that in a real sense read ‘white bird’, Ushijima has been represented as a strong white eagle.
